Jessica Matten’s breakthrough series Tribal on APTN takes us to Calgary Alberta and a nearby First Nations reservation. Matten’s Sam is Chief of Tribal Police, partnering with Metro Police, amidst procedural, racist, and sexist tensions. A gruesome find, a case near the reservation, an indigenous mobster and faceoffs with the status quo make for an exciting and ever-evolving narrative.
