The Great Canadian Baking Show is such a strong guilty pleasure. All that butter, the sugar, the flavours and the love that goes into the bakes just weaves a magic spell. CBC’s baking competition, now in season 5, is pure catnip. Watching the bakers create sweet showstoppers, lovingly nudged on by hosts Ann Pornel and Alan Shane Lewis is a treat that’s hard to beat.
