Prey, the Predator origins story, stars Amber Midthunder as Naru, a Commanche woman, circa 1750 living on the American Great Plains. Naru is an adventurer and hunter, much to the dismay of the male hunters who see her as an interloper. But she’s the one who recognises that a fearsome threat has landed, a creature and energy with the power to destroy everything in its path. Naru’s breathtaking fighting moves and strategic thinking, especially going against the cultural grain of her nation, make her a heroine and legend, a worthy predecessor to Arnold Schwarzenegger.
