A WOMAN FINDS HERSELF ALONE IN CANADA’S FAR NORTH. JUST KEEP BREATHING.

Netflix’ excruciatingly intense wilderness series Keep Breathing follows Manhattan lawyer Liv played by Melissa Barrera, who is en route to Inuvik, Northwest Territories. But suddenly, the small, unregistered plane crashes into a frigid mountain lake. Her fellow passengers die and she’s left alone, with no cell signal, thick forest as far as the eye can see, one bottle of water and a protein bar. Hang on, it gets better – no one knows she’s there. What She Said’ Anne Brodie spoke with co-writers and showrunners Brendan Gall and Martin Gerro about creating a female protagonist who knows one false move may kill her and Barrera who exhibited extraordinary courage.

Keep Breathing debuts on Netflix July 28th
